For the video, our favorite indie rock group reflects on the different meanings of the word “maginhawa.”
The renowned tea shop Moonleaf, on Maginhawa Street incidentally, has collaborated with Ang Bandang Shirley to produce the “It’s Maginhawa” drink.
The music video was launched last Saturday, May 6, at the Route 196 in Katipunan, QC, with performances by Ang Bandang Shirley, Rusty Machines, Oh, Flamingo, Halik ni Gringo, and We Are Imaginary.
Maginhawa’s music video was directed by Patrick Visenio and Patrick Vinalay (VisVin). It shows their nostalgic memories of the famous Quezon City street to which the band’s drink and song pay homage to, as well as the ~feelz~ of the “young wistful love” that will make you say “aaaahh.”
