If you’re a Hawaiian and Asian food lover, we’re pretty sure you’ve heard about this Poke Poke fast food restaurant. They have two branches in Pasig, Taguig, and the newly opened branch in Greenhills, San Juan.

The fast food restaurant is famous with their playful take on Poke, a traditional Hawaiian dish made from marinated cuts of fresh seafood. Co-owners and restaurateurs, Speedy and Alta Lyttle, were first introduced to the dish during a trip abroad. Together with head chef, Kel Zaguirre, the group decided to introduce the diversity and fresh flavors of Poke to the Filipino market.

“At Poke Poke, we strive to serve the freshest tasting ingredients to erase the stigma of healthy food being bland and boring.

“We aim to redefine fast food by providing proper nutrition to people on-the-go,” Alta Lyttle said.

Poke Poke established itself with its first two branches in Pasig and Taguig. This inspired the owners to begin their expansion across Metro Manila, starting with the launch of their third branch in Greenhills.

“It’s our first branch outside a mall, so we have yet to see how different the operations will be. Like any business owner, I am very excited,” she added.

More branches set to open in the coming months, Poke lovers across the metro will now be able to get their regular fix. Casual diners will have the chance to explore the tastes of Poke Poke’s interesting fusion of East and West cuisines.

Poke Poke has branches open in Estancia Mall, Pasig; SM Aura, Bonifacio Global City; and 8 Missouri St, Greenhills.
