Designer and international leather goods brand have made their way to different malls in Manila. Despite their domination, homegrown and Philippine-made products have continued to thrive.
KATRE is one of the most promising local brands established in 2009. They started as a small design studio and began with a 15-piece collection of ready-to-wear until it found its way to leather goods. And for the whole month of July, it has opened its doors for a round of open houses during the weekends. Yas!
If you’ve seen KATRE’s Instagram page, their open house is the opportunity to see and feel the chic leather goods in person. Plenty of leather goodness for everyone and the staff will help you find the perfect piece for your leather needs. Promotions will be on and these will be different every week!
Almost a year after the launch of The Katre Living Room, KATRE has expanded its offerings from handbags to small leather accessories including a unisex brand called Lee et Chase essentiels.
“We dubbed the showroom as a ‘living room’ because we did not want it to be just another store. It’s living and breathing. It has life to it. We want to create an environment where you, the customer, will feel at home,” says Founder and Designer Kat Erro.
