Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy released his new single, “Lay It All On Me,” July 13, his first since “Straight Into Your Arms” nearly two years ago.

The 29-year-old singer announced on his Facebook account, Monday, that his new music is coming out.

“Hey, guys! I’m very excited to say I’ve got some new music coming out – a song called ‘Lay It On Me’. I hope you like it,” he said.

Music Feeds described the track as “a breezy acoustic number with horns, upbeat rhythms and (of course) a festival-ready singalong section.”

The song—which premiered in Australian radio station, Triple J—talks about vulnerability in relationships, apparent in lines such as:

If all my defences come down, oh baby
Will you lay it all on me now?
Lay it all on me now
Lay it all on me now
Lay it all on me now

The accompanying music video – from California-based director Mimi Cave – starred HBO’s Westworld actress Angela Sarafyan.

Fans were ecstatic and quickly praised the ‘Riptide’ hit singer for his amazing comeback.

“It’s worth the wait.. Cool Tune and MV,” one fan said.

“Not even halfway through and I love it already!” another commented.

We agree. Totes! We’ll surely lay all our support for Vance Joy’s new music.
