Are you one of those who have always wanted an Anello bag but could not purchase one simply because it’s not available in the country, shipping fees are way too expensive, and local online shops claiming to sell authentic items are just too difficult to trust?
For Anello bag dreamers (like me), dream no more. Japan’s “IT” bag is finally here in the Philippines. Yas!
Aside from its signature wired wide opening backpack, the world-renowned Japanese-Italian brand is also known for what exclusive distributor and Crossmerchant Inc. President Marnie Chua describes as “no-nonsense pieces that allow you do more things and go more places.”
The bags come in all forms, sizes, colors and materials and reflect the Japanese’s keen attention to details and practicality with its structured silhouttes and added functions.
“Essentially, it answers the need for really trendy bags that do more than just hold things for its owner – one that is both sturdy, provide convenience and designed in such a way that it fits into most occasions,” Chua continued.
Anello’s bags, for instance, have exterior pockets for easy storage, a hard-to-detect, 29-centimeter zipper that leads to a secret compartment and can weigh as light as 170 grams. You can also choose your Anello according to the material it is made from: polyester, canvass, man-made leather, cotton and nylon. Winner!
The brand has already put up branches at the SM Megamall, UP Town Center, and an impressive 100-sq. meter flagship store in Estancia Mall at Capitol Commons.
“We decided to venture in the Philippines to answer the continuously growing clamor for the brand here,” said Takeshi Yoshida, President of the bag’s founder, Carrot Company, at the official launch in SM Megamall Fashion Hall yesterday.
Yoshida also said that Filipinos are one of the biggest consumers of Anello bags, both in Japan, and in most countries where the brand is present.
“In the years to come, we aim to continue producing new items that will make sure that we are always able to delight and answer the needs of our customers,” he added.
We can expect further accessibility to our favorite Anello bags with the brand’s plans to open stores in Uptown BGC, Alabang Town Center and Robinsons Magnolia and more. We can’t wait!
