Netizens are going crazy over what seems like a product spin-off of a classic Filipino favorite, the ChocNut Milk Chocolate Drink Mix.

The product first caught online attention when Facebook user Lord Jem posted a handful of the drink mix on his personal account with a short yet striking caption. (Everyone feels this way, TBH.)

“What a time to be alive,” he wrote, with a  emoji. What a time, indeed, especially for those who never knew the ChocNut drink existed.

The post has already been shared 9,594 times, has garnered more than 7,000 reactions, and over 1,200 comments on Facebook as of posting.

In an interview with MB Life, a very enthusiastic Cruz shared how his Facebook and Twitter feed exploded after asking fellow ChocNut lovers about its availability – or if it’s even legit in the first place.

Nagkaroon ng state of euphoria because everyone loves it and they wanted to get a hand on the product,” he said.

The product, being new, unique, novel, and Filipino is enough to excite people.

“It’s a very well-loved brand. Bihira din ang Filipino brand na may ganito so may special place sa puso ng mga tao ang ChocNut,” he added.

As for the taste, Cruz said “it’s good” and a “straightforward milk chocolate drink”. Read his review here.

“For me, amidst all the bad and intolerable news happening, maganda siyang diversion if we need to forget. It’s one way of entertaining ourselves,” he explained.

Ho-land Hopia Chinese Delicacies also has branches in Binondo and Recto in Manila as well as Congressional Ave., Banawe and N. Domingo in Quezon City.
