The biggest names in the local music scene are coming together to perform at the benefit concert of Philippine Red Cross, “Rebuilding Lives in Marawi.”
The organization announced the official line up on Facebook.
Several popular acts that will be performing at the concert – happening on August 10, Wednesday, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena – include Tanya Markova, 6cyclemind, South Border, Side A, Callalily, Apartel, Autotelic, Banda ni Kleggy, Freestyle, Miles Experience, and more.
A fundraising concert for the most vulnerable people affected by the crisis in Marawi, the event is meant to fund and sustain the organization’s humanitarian efforts in the city, “as our mission will not stop until they have recovered.”
The Philippine Red Cross is currently taking care of more than 50% of the evacuees in Marawi and is striving to provide food, clean water, hygiene kits, basic health care, clean portalets, shower facilities, blood, logistics and welfare services (#respect).
