Have you seen this Riverdale-ish retro diner in QC? A restaurant filled with vintage stuff and neon lights perfect for your Instagram feed!
Big Boy’s Diner is an American inspired restaurant in 128 Santo Domingo Avenue, Barangay Siena, Quezon City. This restaurant owned by Gerremy Dionisio and Trizen Sales has been operating since May 2017.
The couple said that they always wanted to have a restaurant based on the ’50s dining experience.
“Both of us came from the US so medyo alam na talaga namin kung anong makikita sa isang traditional diner. Pareho rin kaming mahilig kumain ng breakfast, to have coffee, and chill. Gusto kasi namin yung old way of falling in love with each other,” Gerremy said. How sweet!
The first thing you’ll notice when you step inside the place is their neon lights signage. It will make you feel like you’re one of the Riverdale cast inside Pop’s! It has vintage memorabilia like a soldier’s helmet from the WWII, mini Coke bottles from the ’90s, vinyl, and more. Visually pleasing!
The restaurant has the usual American breakfast like chicken and waffle, and pancakes. They also have silog meals for only P99. Sulit if you’re on a tight budget!
If you want to have that Veronica Lodge and Betty Cooper vibes, make sure to buy their special milkshakes that comes with the regular vanilla, strawberry, and bubblegum.
