Organized by Big Events Management, the first ever “Hallyu Art Fair” is set to commence at Whitespace Manila on Nov 5 from 11am to 7pm.
The exhibit will feature creations by Filipino K-pop fan artists with six exhibition areas that includes sketches, projected MV, digital art, music album gallery, photography and memorabilia, and light stick showroom.
Hallyu Art Fair is the best avenue for a fan to celebrate and enjoy with no competition and fan war, just pure art and love. According to its organizers, the event is expected to be fun, stylish and colorful. Event ticket is at P200.
Meanwhile, ‘Hallyu’ is a commonly used term which means “Korean cultural wave” that includes K-pop, TV dramas, movies, and lifestyle. It originated in mid-1999 by Beijing journalists as terms to describe the emerging popularity of Korean entertainment and culture. The popularity of hallyu is mainly led by TV Dramas and K-pop.
Through the years, more and more Filipino fans continue to hail Korean culture as one of the most influential and fastest-growing among other cultures.
