Danielle Radcliffe will battle mother nature in his new adventure-thriller film, Jungle.
Film and television studio Momentum Pictures released the new trailer on Friday, September 8.
Set in the early 1980s, the movie follows the story of Yossi Ghinsberg, an enthusiastic Israeli backpacker who wants “to experience the extraordinary” and pursues his dream of exploring the Amazon jungle with his two friends and a guide with a mysterious past.
But their journey quickly turns into a nightmare as the darkest elements of human nature and the deadliest threats of the wilderness forces them to fight for their survival.
The movie is based on real events recorded in Ghinsberg’s memoir, with a screenplay written by Justin Monjo.
The former Harry Potter lead actor has consistently starred in small films by up-and-coming directors. This movie was no different as it was directed by Greg McLean, whose previous works include Wolf Creek and The Belko Experiment.
No Philippine screening date has been announced yet but the movie is set for an October 20 US release.
