The Marcos family celebrated the 100th birthday of former president Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Monday, September 11.
The event started with a mass followed by a program and lunch, with invited guests including Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, and many more.
But before this centennial celebration, a Facebook page named Marcos Centennial, posted a call-out for Ilocano digital artists to create their own poster “reflecting the outstanding accomplishment and character of President Marcos as a Filipino,” on Aug 28.
Of course, Twitter netizens are not having it. People created their own poster making contest with the hashtags #Marcos100 and #MarcosARTrocities.
