The Handmaid’s Tale won the Best Drama Series at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday, Sept 18.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus was hailed as the Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Veep, while Donald Glover won the Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Atlanta. 

Meanwhile, “San Junipero,” the crowd’s favorite episode of the series Black Mirror took home the Outstanding Television Movie and its writer Charlie Brooker received the Best Writing for a Limited Series, Movie or Special award.

  • Writing for a comedy series: Aziz Ansari and Lena Waithe, Master of None
