The duo first released the official audio of “What Lovers Do?” back in August.

Directed by Joseph Kahn – whose most recent works include Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do”, Katy Perry’s “Waking Up in Vegas”, Lady Gaga’s “Love Game” and Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” – it’s safe to describe the video as a satisfying visual feast.

The CGI-laden and adventure-packed clip portrayed a crazy chase between the singers through many worlds including the antarctic, under the ocean, and even Las Vegas: running marathons, riding jet skis, surfing through the waves, climbing trees and playing in fields with dinosaurs.

For an adorable opening, young kids can be seen frolicking in a field and Levine singing in the form of a deer, a sunflower and a squirrel.

But Levine wakes up in a hospital in the end, and realize the crazy chase has all been a sedated fantasy with his nurse, SZA, standing by his bed.

That’s what lovers probably do, play with someone’s emotions, lead them on, and leave them hanging in the end.  Char!

What are your thoughts on this music video? We think it’s super cool!
