The tour comes two years after the band – composed of Jay Contreras on vocals, Jomal Linao and Led Tuyay on guitars, bassist Puto Astete and drummer Bords Burdeos – went on hiatus back in December 2015. It also marks their 17th year of making music together.

As of writing, tour dates and venues are yet to be released but loyal fans were more than excited over the announcement.

“Hala, may comeback tour ang Kamikazee!!!!!!!!” one tweet said.

“Hello, Kamikazee. See you next year. Ohgaaahd! I miss you,” another netizen tweeted.

The band has also announced mid-August that a new song is coming on December 9 to formally start their string of comeback activities.
