We’re falling to pieces in excitement!
Irish rock band The Script is coming back to a legion of loyal Filipino fans in Manila next year for their Freedom Child Tour.
The announcement was made on the band’s official social media accounts and local concert promoter Midas Promotions on Monday, October 30.

“Asia! We’re bringing the #FreedomChildTour to you in 2018!! We’ll see you very soon!” the band wrote.
The concert, happening on April 14 at the Mall of Asia Arena, will mark the trio’s fourth visit to the country, this time with new music from their latest album, Freedom Child.
Tickets for the Manila concert are scheduled to go on sale on November 7 via SM Tickets and are priced at P12,000 (VIP Experience), P8,500 (VIP), P7,500 (Patron), P6,000 (Lower Box A), P4,000 (Lower Box B), P2,500 (Upper Box) and P1,000 (General Admission).
Lead vocalist and keyboardist Danny O’Donoghue, lead guitarist Mark Sheehan, and drummer Glen Power are also set to visit four other countries part of their tour’s Asian leg: Singapore on April 12, Hong Kong on April 24, Taiwan on April 26 and Thailand on April 28.
The Script first rose to fame in 2008 with their debut single, We Cry. Some of their other hits include The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Breakeven, For The First Time, Nothing, Hall of Fame and Superheroes.
