Resorts World Manila, known for staging Broadway productions such as “Annie” and “The Sound of Music,” as well as original Filipino musicals like “Bituing Walang Ningning,” will bring to stage another musical that’ll definitely be one for the books: “Ang Huling El Bimbo.” The musical, named after one of the Eraserheads’ hits, will be directed by Dexter Santos and is set to hit the stage in August.

Together with Full House Theater Company Entertainment and Productions Inc., Resorts World is currently looking for male and female actors for supporting and ensemble roles for what is touted as a “theatrical celebration of the songs from one of the country’s most influential rock bands of all time.”

In another post, the entertainment and leisure destination also asked through a shareable image, “Magaling ka bang sumayaw, mapa-boogie man o cha-cha?” before elaborating with, “Magaling ka ba sumayaw nyan or kahit something na mas modern? Isama mo na rin ang pagkanta.”

If you have the knack in singing, dancing, and acting, you can come to the open auditions on January 26 to 27 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the 3rd floor Rehearsal Room of the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila. Just make sure to bring a resume, a head shot, a half-body shot and a recorded OPM pop/rock minus-one song saved in a USB flash drive.
