Sam Smith is not so good at goodbyes, after all.

After almost three agonizing years of waiting, Filipino fans can finally see the British singer-songwriter again live in Manila for his “The Thrill of It All: Asia Tour” on October 5. The “Stay With Me” hit singer made the announcement on Instagram, revealing his other stops in Asia, which includes Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and Thailand.

“Asia! Incredibly excited to announce some shows for you. Let’s sing together this October,” he wrote.

This will be Smith’s second visit to the country for live performances in support of his commercially and critically-successful studio album, “The Thrill Of It All.” Filipino fans quickly took to Twitter to express their excitement over the upcoming concert.

“Sam Smith will have another concert here in Manila on October 5,” one netizen tweeted with a picture of a bird screaming.

“Sam Smith will have a concert in Manila! [I] wanna hear Latch live!” another fan tweeted.

While others are happy for the 25-year-old’s return, some are starting to feel overwhelmed by the multitude of musical acts slated to perform in Manila this year.

“Ed Sheeran concert, Sam Smith concert, John Legend concert, The Script concert, Bruno Mars concert, and Boyce Avenue in Manila this 2018! Bakit niyo pinagsabay-sabay? Utang na loob nagtaas na nga ng presyo ng mga pagkain at pamasahe, pinagsabay niyo pa sila,” one netizen tweeted.

The concert will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Tickets will go on sale on April 11 via SM Tickets, with prices to be announced soon.

Known for his heart-wrenching songs about love, Smith first rose to fame in 2012 when he was featured on Disclosure’s breakthrough single, “Latch.” He has since put out global hits such as “Lay Me Down,” “Money On My Mind,” “I’m Not The Only One,” and “Like I Can.”
