Breaking the perception of airline passengers when it comes to uniform styles, Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) bares the newest modern cabin crew uniform designs just in time for its 20th anniversary!
Here’s a closer look at the new hues and prints designed by Cebu fashion couturier Jun Escario for a silhouette-flattering “in-flight style” they’re about to rock:
Paired azure and sunshiny hues
Complementing the sunny disposition of their crew members, which also represent the sunshiny personality of Filipinos, yellow was picked to set the cheery vibe of the look.
Paired with blue that represent the azure skies and aquamarine waters, the new style offers a subtle nod to the alluring tropical isles of the Philippines.
What’s it for? To complement the wearer’s shape, of course!
Bearing CEB’s official colors, the scarf is tied in one specific knot style. It puts the overall look together to give a “simple and easy, yet stylish” aura.
Denim skirts for the ladies
Being a year-round fashion staple, Escario says the denim gives off a “casual yet classy” look. The knee-length skirt in crisp, navy denim may seem like a slim fit but it was designed to make it easier for the cabin crew members to move around.
The fun details: Ruffles on the front and zips across one thigh.
Denim jeans for the gents
It’s like normal jeans for guys… but with yellow stitching!
Sleek denim trench coat
To fight off the cold on chilly days, a sleek denim trench coat is also added to the look. Stylish!
From what we learned from CEB, straw fedora hats are suggested to add more oomph to the look. Plus, paired with the neat braided bun for the ladies, simple pearl earrings are added to the chic style.
Heels or sneakers? Both!
As for their footwear, crew members have a choice between nude heels and navy blue sneakers.
We can’t wait to hop in our next CEB flight just to take a peek at the in-flight style stunners starting March 27, 2016!
Just for comparison, below are Cebu Pacific flight attendants with their original uniforms, designed by Rajo Laurel.
