‘Hair ye, hair ye!’ Is your hair as slick-looking as you?

If not, maybe you just need to tame your locks to make it speak for you. Just like girls, hair is also a man’s crowning glory. Why, girls love gorgeous (in a manly way) hairstyles on guys!

Together with Man Pomade Republic, MB Life invites its users to flaunt their best looks to win pomade for everyday use. But before you take your selfie game to the next level, here’s a peek at some of the hairstyles you can work on:

To keep your locks in a perfect condition, do take note of the following:

  • Getting the look you want would depend on the amount of pomade you put on your hair. If you have thick hair, more pomade may be needed. Otherwise, less is best!
  • Style outcome differs if you put on pomade on wet and dry hair. Pomade also goes in much smoother on slightly damp locks, helping it spread out evenly for refined styles. Applying it on dry hair also works – just expect some of it clumping which some don’t like.
  • Use your hands in applying and styling with pomade for a scrunched look. If you want a brushed-up sleek do, then use fine comb. Both works just as fine!
  • Aside from the samples demonstrated in our video, pomade works perfect for creating a man bun, a classic slick-back (goes well with wet hair), Mohawks (for that up-do), and fringe (for a “down-do”).

Now that you’re ready, head over to our Facebook page and comment your best photo for the “Best Hairstyle Selfie Contest”. Time to prove that men also have selfie skills (do you?). Here are the mechanics:
