ship

A thousand ships were set to sail away

The others made it, but ours sank halfway

T’was hard to swim to shore, we’re left astray

We struggle as we try to find our way

Halfway, we start to sink, we start to drown

We needed help, we couldn’t make it back

We know someone could save us, still we frown

What if the person to save us, we lack?

But we don’t lose hope; we stay and wait

The right one, we will find a ship we’ll ride

I see a man in sight, I hope he’s right

He hugs me tight and he stays by my side

I found my captain, I rode the right ship

And we set sail, forever on this trip
