The time may come when we leave our dear homes.
Great storms or fires may come and leave us lost,
And we may wait until our Savior comes,
Or hope to be with the Heavenly Host.
But we can’t stand around doing nothing,
We will eventually look somewhere else.
A place that we could call our ev’rything.
Where you come home without ringing the bells.
Is this what humans think of as a dear home?
A dwelling where you hide to stay alive.
It is nothing more than a shallow dome.
Nothing more than a tool used to survive.
The only thing we need to remember,
Is that we are home when we’re together.
