With the ever-changing weather conditions in the country, we Filipinos have often been on the lookout for the perfect skincare regimen that can save our skin from the scorching heat of the sun and keep it moisturized under colder temperatures. Look no more because we’ve consulted two of the freshest faces in the showbiz industry to share their facial pampering tricks that help their skin glow amid crazy celebrity schedules.
Actress, model, and host Isabelle Daza, together with travel and food video content creator Erwan Heussaff revealed their secret to having healthy skin as they were named as Kiehl’s newest goodwill ambassadors last Wednesday (February 13, 2016) at a press event in Unit 27 Apartment Bar + Cafe, Bonifacio Global City.
As shared to MB Life by Isabelle herself, here’s her skincare routine after a busy day:
- Remove makeup before sleeping
- Take a shower
- Put on moisturizer
During the day:
- Put on sunblock
As for Erwan, here’s a fun fact: He told MB Life that he just hates taking too much time to get ready! Thus, here’s his routine:
- Brush your teeth
- Put on facial cream (It’s the only thing he uses)
After everything, just get out of the house (Yes, this is really part of the steps). That easy!
More Erwan fun fact: He told us that he hates hair products. It’s just awesome to know that he’s a natural cutie.
Since both celebrities are using facial cream and moisturizer, it’s only apt to know what brand they’re using. As the new ambassadors of Kiehl’s, a world-renowned brand in skincare, both influencers are using the Ultra Facial Cream, which now has a limited edition packaging that the two new ambassadors designed for a good cause. It is a 24-hour skin hydrator that works well on the roughest and coldest conditions.
Isabelle and Erwan have now joined the likes of Brad Pitt, Alicia Keys, Julianne Moore, and Pharell Williams who have developed programs with the brand to raise funds and awareness for philanthropic purposes.
More pro tip from Isabelle: “Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream is perfect for our country because ‘di siya masyadong mabigat for the skin. You guys can use it before you sleep, after makeup, or before makeup pero just a little amount kasi summer nga. We don’t want it to be too sticky.”
Isabelle and Erwan teamed up to help children of Payatas in Quezon City through the Payatas Orione Foundation which feeds over 600 malnourished children annually. Underprivileged kids aged two to eight years old will benefit from a Supplemental Feeding Program where one full meal will be provided for them every single day of the week. The two stars have also been visiting the place themselves to see the status of the families.
