In case you missed it, the first Texas Roadhouse in Philippines opened on April 28 at the fourth level of Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City… and the yummy steaks they brought in town are definitely no joke. The company has been named by Forbes magazine as one of America’s best companies, and in the Chains survey as the Number 1 steakhouse in America by consumers’ choice. Foreign tastebuds approve of it, so we’re pretty sure Filipinos will, too.
1. It’s authentic
Baring the true taste of Texas on everybody’s plate since 1993, the restaurant’s steaks are high quality and hand-cut. These are grilled on open fire to achieve a smoky taste and right amount of char. This yummy goodness also comes in a variety of premium cuts to choose from.
Texas Roadhouse was founded in Clarksville, Indiana and has over 425 restaurants in the United States alone. It has since ventured out in Taiwan and Dubai and now, it’s here in the Philippines.

Upon ordering, customers can request how their steaks will be cooked. Just let them know the preferred doneness.

All entrées include a side dish of your choice: Steak rice, sweet potato, baked potato, steak fries, buttered corn, coleslaw, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, house salad, Ceasar salad or the Pinoy staple – steamed rice and seasoned rice.
4. Lotsa steaks to choose from
Choices include USDA Choice Sirloin, Dallas Filet, Filet Medallions, Ft. Worth Ribeye, Bone-in Ribeye, and many more! They take pride in its slow-cooked, fall-off-the-bone ribs that are certified award-winning.
Fun fact: The ribeye steaks become flavorful and juicy due to the even marbling throughout the meat.
5. More than just steaks
Even though Texas is known for its meaty specialties, Texas Roadhouse has other dishes and specialties. Perennial favorites include RattleSnake Bites which is made out of diced jalapeños and jack cheese, hand-battered and lightly fried, served with Ranch dressing and assorted salads. This is topped with various homemade dressings like ranch, honey mustard, Italian and blue cheese, and Ceasars. Sounds ssssooo yummy!
Burgers are also a thing in a place known for ranches and rodeo. Try the All-American Cheeseburger, Smokehouse Burger, Mushroom Jack Chicken, Buffalo Burger, and Sliders! You might also want to include a platter of Pork Chops, Beef Steak Tips, Shrimp, Crispy Chicken Strips, or Sirloin and Beef.

Texas Roadhouse offers complimentary freshly baked bread. The kitchen staff makes small batches every five minutes just to guarantee freshness.
