Is it just us or do you also feel like they snuck up on us?

Apparently, the burial of dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani is happening today, Friday November 18 at 12noon.

None other than PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa confirmed the reports.

According to CNN Philippines, three choppers from Ilocos Norte will be carrying the body of the late dictator. The Marcos family is with him.

On Twitter, ABS-CBN reported the family left Laoag at 9am to make it to Libingan ng mga Bayani at 1130.

According to Chief Superindendent Oscar Abayalde, it won’t be a state funeral. Just, you know, a military burial complete with a 21 gun salute. Nobody is allowed to join the funeral, just the Marcos family

President Rodrigo Duterte knows of the burial and his lone reminder? Make sure it’s peaceful. Speaking to CNN Philippines, Dela Rosa said they will take a maximum tolerance approach in case protests happen.
