Mother of internet sensation and model Ann Mateo, plans to take legal action over the foul rap battle lines by Fliptop artist Sinio. Uh-oh.
Two Pinoy rap artists Sinio and Shehyee doing a rap challenge was caught on video. It garnered over six million views since it was posted on Thursday, Feb 2. Sinio won the battle by a unanimous 5-0 vote, by the way.
What made the battle controversial? Well, Sinio’s replies that mainly focused on Ann Mateo,Shehyee’s girlfriend.
According to ABS-CBN News, Mateo’s mother is already planning to seek legal action against the Fliptop star.
On Feb 3, Shehyee released a statement, clarifying that it was Mateo’s mom who threatened to file a case— not him.
He also said that he did not expect such reaction and he could not question the mother’s decision because he also understands where she is coming from.
Sinio also posted a statement regarding the issue. He explained that it was Mateo’s mom who messaged him about the planned legal action—not Shehyee.
As of writing, Ann Mateo has not formally released any official statement. On Tuesday however, she posted a photo of herself on Instagram with a caption, “Sakit na ulo ko sa inyo bes.”
