BookFellas is the brother of Maginhawa’s Bookay-Ukay; they are both owned and operated by cool human Dan Gaffud.
Like Bookay-Ukay, BookFellas also sells, buys, and trade books—not to mention magazines, occasional indie records, even postcards and various knick-knacks. You’d be amazed at how, ehem, carefully curated the titles are in both bookstores.
Anyway, on Facebook we learn that Bookfellas is having a clearance sale starting today, Tuesday, until supplies last. Discounts go up to 90 percent, yo, which we predict could rival Anvil’s P5-offerings during its last book sale in October 2016.
BookFellas is after all a second-hand shop. On a regular day, prices are much lower than your average bookstore (for instance, on a regular day, Life of Pi is just P250 while the complete Fifty Shades trilogy is only P900).
Dan denies closing shop. He says he really just needs to clear some space in the shop.
