The chance to date one of the 14 hot bachelors—including photographer BJ Pascual, mind—in fun date auction of Cherry Poppin’ is just the tip of the so-called iceberg, forgive our tired metaphor.
The party coincides with the launch of TestMNL HIV awareness campaign, which, much like TestBKK after which it is patterned, is funded by the Elton John AIDS Foundation through the Asia Pacific Coalition on Male Sexual Health.
As such, it’s going to be a huge party: Prince Stefan of A Love to Last leads performances, while DJ Mike Lavet takes care of the music. Goodies from Victoria Court, MAC Cosmetics, Sip & Gogh, Bliss, among others will be available there, too.
But the biggest bigger reason we’re encouraging you to attend the Saturday Party is this: The P300 door charge will help in spreading HIV awareness among people your age, as well as contribute in opening two new LoveYourself community centers in Metro Manila. Now, that’s a biggie.
For the uninitiated: LoveYourself is a non-government organization fueled by volunteerism that aims to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDs among the youth by providing free and confidential HIV testing, counseling, education, and until recently, treatment.
It currently has two testing sites: On Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong and on Taft Avenue in Pasay. After the party, there should be two new more community centers.
A pretty rad reason to party, no? By the way, TV Chef Jeremy Favia, social media star Kiko Arcilla, and “brainy beefcake” Jonathan Serrano are among the 14 auctionees. Deets below:
