Since the release of its first preview late last year, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures has launched the second (and heavier) trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
While the initial teaser we have seen features the comical side of 15-year-old Peter Parker reprised by Tom Holland in Captain America: Civil War, the new clip allows more than a peek of a wider Marvel multiverse, with Michael Keaton playing the main villain as Vulture, and scenes pressing hard on the relationship of Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Peter Parker.
Jam packed of fiery and explosive fight scenes, some may claim that the latest release offers a lot more than it should as young Spider-Man goes through all these hurdles under the watchful eyes of mentor Tony Stark.
Advising him to “stay close to the ground” and be a “friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man,” Tony ultimately finds Peter in the most tenacious circumstances since he continuously fought crime that attracted Vulture alongside his impending doom.
Despite the darkness of the new hook, the plot still revolves around the early life of Spider-Man as a teenager in school struggling to handle the reins of his newfound abilities.
Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit the theaters on July 7, 2017.
