Denims are the last thing you’ll think of when thinking yoga wear. So Freego may have accomplished the impossible with its…yoga jeans.
Uh huh, yoga jeans. It’s made with ultra-stretchable and quick dry denim giving wearers the stretchy but snug look and feel of leggings.
It comes in four washes: light-colored acid, dark blue enzyme and rinse, and the necessary dressy black. But perhaps the best part about the yoga jeans? “You don’t need to iron them,” Daisy Go, president of Magnifico Jeans Inc. says.
According to Daisy, these yoga jeans are also great for long-haul flights, tamad-wear, on busy days when you need to move around a lot, and when you need something comfortable like pajamas but don’t or can’t look sloppy.
It all sounds like a dream until you hear it from an actual yoga teacher. “It was comfier than expected,” says Karen Ann Demot, who teaches yoga at Yoga+Express, adding the jeans moved with her but didn’t ride up or needed constant adjustments. “They’re also a little thicker than the usual leggings [so] they support you and help you keep your form and posture.”
The Freego Yoga Jeans retails for P1,299.75 a pair.
